Devanika Smart Homes is a home automation company in Visakhapatnam, founded and run by Anish Palivela. We design, install and look after automation for villas and apartments across Andhra Pradesh and nearby Odisha.
What we believe
- Decide the wiring before the walls close. Most automation calls come after the slab is cast and the lighting circuits are fixed. We would rather look at the electrical drawing first, mark what to change, and save a chased wall later. The drawing review is free.
- Panels should belong to the room. Our smart touch panels are made to order: the gang count, icons, finish and labels are designed for each room after the drawing is reviewed, so they sit with the interior scheme instead of fighting it.
- One vendor, one phone number. Lighting, gates, CCTV, Wi-Fi and home theatre are planned together and installed by the same team, so there is no gap between trades and no argument about whose fault a problem is.
- Show, don't pitch. The demo flat at CBM Compound has everything running. A twenty-minute visit answers more than any brochure.
How a project runs
1. Review
A free site visit or a review of your electrical drawing. You get our notes on what to change before plastering, whether or not you go ahead.
2. Design
We prepare the switchboard and panel design for your approval. Production starts only after you sign it off; changes after that are re-quoted before anything is made.
3. Build and install
Production takes about four weeks, installation one to two. Your site needs power at every board being automated and all lights and fixtures already in place.
Who you will deal with
Anish Palivela, founder. Anish reviews every drawing, signs off every panel design and answers the WhatsApp number himself. He is a member of BNI Visakhapatnam, where much of our work comes by referral from architects, builders and past clients.
The office and demo flat are at #101, Vinayagar House, CBM Compound, Visakhapatnam 530003. Visits are by appointment so the right person is there to show you round.

Who installs the system?
Our own team. We design, install, set up the app and scenes, and hand over. The same people answer the phone afterwards.
Can I see it before deciding?
Yes. The demo flat at CBM Compound, Visakhapatnam has touch panels, lighting scenes, a digital lock and gate control running. Message us for a time; bring your architect or interior designer if you like.
Which products do you use?
SmartNode home automation products, with a 5-year warranty on SmartNode products (the period can vary by product and is confirmed in your quotation). Touch panels are made to order for each home.
How far do you travel?
About 400 km from Visakhapatnam in any direction: the Andhra coast from Srikakulam to Vijayawada and Guntur, and into southern Odisha.
